James C. Nunley, MD, FACS
James C. Nunley, M.D., F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) is a graduate of Columbia University in New York. He completed his surgical residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. Dr. Nunley was a general surgeon in the United States Army, where he completed two tours in Iraq and has received several service medals. He has previously held positions such as Trauma Medical Director, Assistant Chief of Surgery and served on the Utilization management committee at Saint Lukes East in Kansas City. His interests include colorectal disorders, laparoscopic colon surgery and other aspects of general surgery. Dr. Nunley is a past Chief of Surgery at Renown South Meadows and also sits on the Robotic Surgery Steering Committee at Northern Nevada Medical Center. He is also the Chief of Surgery at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Dr. Nunley also specializes in Advanced & Robotic Hernia Repair and is a member of the Americas Hernia Society. He is Board Certified in General Surgery.
