Dr. Ann E. Pratt, MD, FACS

Ann E. Pratt, M.D., F.A.C.S (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) is a board certified General Surgeon who grew up in nearby Northern California. Following graduation from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Pratt completed her internship and residency in Las Vegas at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. 

After completing residency, Dr. Pratt spent four years working in a busy private practice in Las Vegas where she performed a wide range of surgeries that included advanced laparoscopic techniques, complex abdominal wall hernia repair, conditions of the breast, thyroid and gallbladder removal. 

Dr. Pratt was trained and is certified on the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. Her expertise in robotic surgery include the treatment of Gastro-esophageal reflux disease, Advanced & Robotic Hernia Repair, colon and rectal surgeries. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. 

Dr. Pratt is pleased to be back home in Northern Nevada where she enjoys hiking and backpacking trips, skiing, playing classic video games, and spending time with her family. She believes that while treating patients it is important to understand the impact their disease process has on their lives and the lives of their family members, and that this is the first step in truly helping the patient.
